I recieved my last tax statement yesterday, so this morning I called H&R Block at 9:00. At 11:00, I was back home and waiting for my refund! I was surprised that I could get a "same day" appointment. I will have to say I was hoping for just a tad larger refund than I'll be getting. I didn't miss my estimate too bad.
We had a BEAUTIFUL day yesterday, today the temp. is dropping like a rock and it WINDY.

- I've been a sprint car fan for over 50 years - dating back to when my father used to refer to them as the "big" cars. My late wife used to refer to herself as a "Saturday Night widow" during racing season because she didn't like racing. I was married to my wife, Linda, for 32 years until her death in 2006. We had three kids, but lost our youngest in 2003. I'm very proud of my two living children and my grandson, Caleb.

We're happy to hear you will get some of yours refunded! I'm hopeful that we'll get some back, but I'll just be happy if we don't have to contribute any more than they've already confiscated!
I've been spending quite a bit of my time getting the papers organized and our appointment is Feb. 20th.
Don't spend it all in one place when you get the check!
